Right decision tonight. I don't know why Nicky was in the dance off
It`s going to get more intense now.
It was the right decision but I'm going to miss him

Me neither it was a show stopper of a dance. Guess a lot of it must be down to the public vote and Lisa must have more people voting for her than Nicky.
I remember a couple of weeks back when Dani and Vincent finished their almost perfect tango routine a nano second early and the judges made a big thing of it.
Lisas ending was dreadful, ugly and all over the place and all she got was a 'well that's Lisa's energy for you' they so have favourites some of the time and completely ignore things then other things like Louis not letting his own character shine through he is told Å·ou can't go any further in the competition even though he is a great dancer who deals with complex coreography - weird.
Shame Michael went as he put a lot into it , he trained the most and looked like he was enjoying it , just a shame that he couldn't get his Latin to match his ballroom dances .

Because he was in the bottom two after the judges scoring and the public are starting to pick up on who's got good technique and who hasn't? He stepped up a notch in the dance-off and deserved to stay in comparison to Michael but he hasn't got the technical precision of Danni, Kimberley or Denise and he hasn't got the performance skills and personality of Lisa to sell the routines to the public audience, so he falls between two stools.
The person I was really impressed with this week was Louis. Great technique in the Charleston and he is really learning to project and act, so great performance too.
SM
I liked Nickys dance it looked good especially from a performance point of view but the judges weren't impressed technique wise , his charleston last week earned him good points too , so Louis needs to carry that performance forward if he is to make the final , for me he looks great , he has the body and skills to do well but I think he doesn't connect enough with Flavia , he's dancing with a beautiful woman but looks preoccupied with something else ? He only seems interested in himself and how he looks a bit too aloof , he just needs to become more natural in performing which must be hard for a disciplined gymnast who would concentrate and focus on technique instead.
fantastic show tonight.
Yes, great show, but I think that Nicky was the weakest tonight, with Lisa not far behind. Hubby went off upstairs in a huff when his favourite (Denise) wasn`t getting as good marks as usual! Tee-hee!!
Kimberly was really good last night & Dani too
We went through all this a few years back as well, when he was convinced that Zoe Ball was going to win, he was like a bear with a sore head when she didn`t!

My hubby thinks Dani will win.
I want Dani to win as well Glynis.
Well, think that the right one went out, Nicky was the weakest this week, but a bit of a shocker for Denise and James eh?
She was third from the bottom. I didn't like James' speech before the dance off. I don't think it will have helped them with votes next week. Really - Lisa should be out next week- but she probably won't be. She has done well but the progress from the others( apart from Denise) has been greater
Agree totally with you, Fiona, it sounded petulant and suggests that perhaps they've got a bit complacent? Lisa comes over as a much more sympathetic character who is clearly just so pleased to get this far and I think that means that she'll pulI in the public vote.
Denise`s face when she realised she was in the dance off was a picture of sour peevishness. The right person went out, but they were better than last night. Alright, maybe Lisa should have been the other one, rather than Denise, but I find her much nicer, and more enjoyable to watch, she`s so enthusiastic.
I've got no idea how Lisa got through she must be really popular with the public she made mistakes and she knew it. I'm so glad it was Kimberly who got the first 4 x 10's and not Denise perhaps it is going to be an open contest after all. I didn't hear what James said before the dance off I couldn't have been concentrating.
Lisa- I really like her as she absolutely loves what she is doing. And up till now she deserves to be in on merit. After this week- if she is in, it will be because she is popular- and why not?
I think that with 2 dances next week that Denise will top the board as she is the most consistent , whoever is in 3rd or 4th place will be most in danger of going out if Lisa is bottom as expected . This weeks top 4 are closely matched and anyone of them could win and anyone of them deserves to as well , but the public could turn it on its head and make Lisa the winner .
I don't think James and Denise are complacent , they actually train the most hours , but James is a bit too intense and competitive and this makes him a little unpopular , after all its only an entertainment show , I think its the professionals who want to win the most ,and again this year it will be a different professional who achieves that .
Despite the fact that many thought it unfair that Denise was competing because of her experience and because she looked like the runaway winner early on , it's been good for the competition because the others have pushed harder and stepped it up to attain the high standard she has set , people thought it would be a one horse race , but its now a 4 horse race with Lisa as an outside chance too, great entertainment with all of them believing they have a real chance of winning .
