does any one know what time they serve food till of a night (snacks) thanks

Hi all
Me and my family are due to go to the Sun Tropical on 29th November 2009. I have booked this for my husbands 40th birthday and was really excited about going until i read some of the reviews. I know everyone has different expectations about holidays and not to believe everything i read.
Has anyone stayed here recently and i was wondering what the weather is like around that time of year and need advice on what sort of clothes to pack as i hear it gets really windy.
Also does anyone know if the pools are heated as it states in the first choice brochure that the pools are climatised but i phone the hotel direct after reading some reviews and they didnt seem to know!
And i know alot of people have asked this but does anyone know how much it is to upgrade to all inclusive and has anyone ever brought one of the kids eat free cards that you can use in some of the restaurants in playa blanca?

Is anyone else going the same time as me??

j.l. I think snacks stop in the afternoon, it was on our tickets but don't have them to hand. Basically I think they stop when the restraunts are open for dinner. Will double check that for you.

Hiya, just having a look at info with our tickets, hope this helps:-

AI guests
Breakfast Lunch Dinner in buffet restaurant
bfast, 8am - 10am
lunch, 12.30pm - 2.30pm
dinner 6pm - 9pm

Poolside snack bar 10am to 6.30pm

Spanish grill 1 night per week for AI 6pm -10pm (mon to sat)
Italian Restraunt 1 night per week for AI 6pm -10pm (mon to sat)
(above two restaurant to be booked at lobby bar between 10.30am and 12.30pm at least a day before)

lobby bar10 am to 6pm
tavern bar 4pm to midnight

Chicken Shack not part of AI package but have a limited menu for AI guests.
Open 10am - 10pm everyday.

Entertainment dome 7pm - midnight.

I forgot to say that if you are AI you can order a packed lunch at reception before 8pm the day before

Thanks just that our boys get hungry goin back to our rooms of a night but if there are facilities in the room to warm things through I may be able to get sum stuff during the day and heat it through when we get back to our room at night. ONLY 10 MORE SLEEPS YIPPEE

yeah 10 sleeps, almost single figures, sooooo excited

only 6 sleeps for me.

does anybody know any good websites with photos of sun tropical and playa blanca i can look at and has anyone done the trip over to fuerteventura? And is it best to book before you go or just pay to go on the ferry when you get there?

thanks, i have had a look at trip advisor and am glad to see there are lots of lovely reviews from people who have just come back, which has put my mind at ease.

Also the hotel have emailed me back about upgrading to all inclusive and the prices are as follows:
24 euros per adult per day
12 euros per child per day

They are really helpfull. From what I can remember the pools arent heated. The smaller pools are warmer than the large ones. There is more photos on the hotels chain web site.

Icequeen it would be helpful if you could leave the email address here, not everyone can use the pm facility.

Has anyone ever ordered a welcome package with First Choice. I have just phoned and paid £17 for one and it should be in my room when i arrive?
Also just brough a kids eat free card aswell, which can be used in about 10-15 restaurants in Playa Blanca
