Is this place as nice as it seems?
Would love some feedback
Thanks
Carrie
Yes, we have stayed there 3 times now, we stay in Nansladron House, nice and clean, friendly, the pool is small but ok. Good bar with reasonable food. Its a good base for touring cornwall
Just to bring this post up to date, we stayed here from 23rd June for a week. It is now known as Sun Valley Resort and is under new ownership. A car is a must for getting out and about though there a some nice walks, we were in a caravan which was very comfortable and clean. The Camp Site is clean and tidy and the swimming pool is kept in good order, they have entertainment on a Wednesday and a food special on a Friday. We did feel that the food prices in the club house were a bit on the high side. With St Austell only five minutes away you have got ASDA, Tesco, ALDI and Cooperative Supermarkets plus there is a McDonalds and KFC next store to each other. You can order a daily paper at reception and they will keep it for you.
