Found them thanks for that.

It looks quite remote but thats okay as we like the peace and quiet and are happy to make our way to the nearest village when we feel like it.
As long as we get some sun and a bit of retail therapy I will be more than happy.

Hi ANNE
Sorry to hear your review.I wonder if the food is not as good as the season as only just began, i know other people have commentated on our good it is. Why was the entertainment so poor and who was it tailored for ie adults or kids.

It is really strange because the food was one of the main complaints when we we there in November but the entertainment was very good. Every night there was a different show in both rooms, the ent staff were excellent. The smaller show always had a comedy show by the staff while the larger room had live music on and they were the best i have ever seen in Turkey. The hotel appears to be open all year with the main season as May to October. While we were there one unlucky couple stayed the last week in Oct and the first week in Nov and they could not believe it when they came and emptied their minibar and all the snacks stopped and the other special rest closed for their second week. At least for us we had only read about it but they had actually had everything stopped half way through their stay.

as i have said on many occasions we have stayed there four times already ,at the height of the season ,and we all found the food to be excellent,in fact the whole place is as far as we are concerned , i can only imagine that it is downgraded during the off season ,we are booked up for two weeks in june and another two weeks in september,as for the staff they may change in the winter, but the ones in the summer are brilliant ,wether it is because they have got to know me i dont know,i only take people as i find them ,and can honestly say me or my family have never experienced any sort of rudenes from them.certainly the hotel has a lot of russians who are very rude ,but we should all be big enough to tell them where to go ,i do and they dont bother me twice, margaret talks about two show rooms, in the summer there is only entertainment on in the amphitheatre or around the pool ,could you please explain margaret,we love the place and cannot wait to go back ,as for being remote that is part of the attraction to us, and can quite understand why it may not suit others ,regards bluepeterno1

When I say two rooms I think one might be a TV room, it is at the end of a small corridor almost opposite the bar off the big room. They had a stage in there but the seats were jut placed not fixed. The main room is were the bar is and that is where the entrtainment is or was when we were there. Nothing was open outside at all even though the weather was nice in the daytime. I had heard that they served food during the day by the Italian Rest but as I say everywhere was close. The only food of any kind was strictly to time in the main rest if you missed it you went hungry or went out.
How different it must be in the summer.

yes thats just as i thought margaret , in the high season all entertainment is in the amphitheatre outside, you get a guy playing the piano in the bar area ,and some nights a band ,in the high season you have outside restaurants ,fish, italian, turkish ,and the food is brill ,real sitdown ,with waiter service ,wine the works. seems to me that it is totally different off season , thnaks let you know how it is in june ,regards

The outside areas were just opening up for the season so I think the food choice would be better high season.

The entertainment during the day was great for kids and young adults but at night was a lot of rot !! Bingo, magic show etc all really rubbish in the ampitheatre.

There was no entertainment in the main hotel not even background music in the bar area and foyer - only lots of Turkish people getting well oiled on the all inclusive vodka.

Drinks were limited with no international brands eg Smirnoff, Baileys, Morgans Spice etc which were only available at an additional cost.

I think it is for all nationalities, its called the Hippo club , we are going back there in september with my daughter , her husband and my three year old grandsson, we have stayed there five times now and as far as i can see the kids have a great time. When we were there last week they had the kids making pizza, they do all the cases and the fillings, they are then taken to the italian baker who bakes them ,then they all get there own back to share with there families ,all the kids loved that. There is all the usual passtimes for kids . Once a week they take kids of a certain age to a zoo in one of the other hotels, with pony rides , we will definately be using it for our grandson.

They will find plenty at the water slides.

The slides look great. We stayed at the aqua fantasy last year which had its own water park which kept them occupied.
Another question if you dont mind the brochures states that the hotel supplies beach towels, do you use this service, just wondering if there is enough available as would really help with the luggage if I didnt need to take my own.

Plenty of good quality towels ,you can change them daily after 5 oclock .We always use this service ,saves carrying them with you and helps the weight on the way back.

just got back yesterday from otium zeynep for 3rd time.

food was excellent, weather was hot and hotel as clean as ever.
animation staff worked hard to entertain
a few things have changed
there was a disco near by which did have music quite loud till 4am
( the hotel is currently dealing with that issue so hopefully will be resolved- only affecting one side of hotel ) thomas cook aware as well

music round by pool was sometimes a bit loud and overbearing would be ok if background only ( not a major concern though)
we never used to have to get up early to get sunbeds but now there is a rush

kids club let kids leave area on own, not good when your four year old is found with a seven year old by the bar... ( given guarantees would not happen again)

plenty of choice of food
maid service was excellent as was all staff in hotel
pool was warm after a few seconds in.

although we had a few probelms nothing was major and would thorughly recommend

travelled with sun express flight and plane ok but food was horrid
make sure you eat before you get on the plane but not at antalya airport

£3.50 for can of coke
£8.50 for kids meal in burger king

Hi can anyone tell me if this hotel has 24 hour room service and if so what the charge is to use it, the brochure does state that this is available however would just like some confirmation. Also I've just read a review which states that you have to pay for fresh orange juice and waffles as these are not included in the AI seems a bit strange does anyone know.

Many thanks
