It says on our booking form that we are entitled to a free massage so this may mean we are blue if not i am very good at moaning
Thanks for all the help and advice
Elaine
What is the entertainment like in the hotel in the evening - I think they are planning on going to the nightclubs, are there any close by to the hotel?
With regard to the A/I bands, they are going with Thomas Cook, and I'm sure it said that they were entitled to a free massage etc, so would that mean they should get a blue or pink one . I don't want them loose out if they have paid for it. My daughter is nearly 18, so will she get a child's band - I really hope she doesn't, as she will be most upset!!!!!
Thanks Jane
The entertainment is ok few shows from the staff and some come in all were watchable
I've just had a text from my daughter, who is staying at this hotel, and she is having a fantastic time. I will ask her to put a review on when she returns.
JaneLouise63 hope your daughter had a good time. We go in 1 week and 1 day
I got in touch with the travel agent and they have confirmed that we are ultra inclusive so we are very happy.
I was wondering if anyone knew if they serve wine, preferably red, as part of the AI as that is what hubby drinks.
Thanks Elaine
But does anyone know if there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room as i like to have a cuppa before i face the world LOL!!
Thanks Elaine
Hi Elaine, your husband will be pleased to hear red and white are part of the ai and were both drinkable but I am afraid there are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms so you will have to wait for breakfast or take your own travel kettle, any more questions just ask not long for you now I have just started to think about sorting out clothes for ours in 2wks, Denise
I wonder if you could tell me if there is a dress code for the resturants for the evening meal so as i know what to pack?
Contemplating taking the kettle just depends on suitcase weight!!
I did email them about the late night food and they said that they have snacks from 10.30 - 1.00am so that is a bit of a bonus. I thought i'd also be cheeky and ask for a nice room with a lagoon view, doesn't hurt to ask
Can't wait now only 4 days to go but they seem to be the slowest days in the world though when i get back it will go like grease lightening till the 6 weeks is over and i've got to go back to work.
Thanks Elaine
Hi Elaine, there is no strict dress code most men tended to wear 3/4 length trousers and shirt or t-shirt and women dresses or vest tops,t-shirts and skirts or 3 quarter trousers so whatever you are comfy in. Hope you have 2 great time we still have 10 days till we fly. Like you there 6wks are flying by wont want to go back in september.
Sounds like your in the same business as me!!
Just a quick question if you don't mind.
When we go out of the hotel which way do we go to get to the town and how far is it?? I read that there are two towns, one either side, but what is the difference and which one is better? We like to have a stroll in the evening and were thinking of going to the Hard Rock Cafe, oh and we will have to go to McDonalds at some point (14 year old boy!!!) So i was wondering what the best way to get there was.
Thanks Elaine
best to go right towards the marina. You can walk to a small shopping area also towards the right but best to get taxi to town as they are cheap and the roads are not great for walking well we never tired but my 2 are a bit younger so you may be able to walk not sure where abouts nearerst md's is probably the marina my two are banned from them abroad though they get excited every time we spot one.
Hope you had a nice holiday!!
Just want to say thanks for all the info you gave me regarding the Sunrise Holiday Resort it was spot on. We had a fantastic time and would go back there like a shot.
Thanks Elaine
Glad you had a really good time, Our holiday was fantastic would definately recommend the fort arabesque, there is nothing around apart from a few hotels but it was a totaly relaxing holiday which was great. Just got to try and find a really cheap deal for next year now.
New to the board and new to going to Egypt
Heading out a week tomorrow and looking forward to some sunshine.
Can anyone advise on likely situation with sunbeds at this resort. Are they plentiful ? Is there someone in charge that you can slip a "fiver" to on day one that'll organise your sunbed for the rest of your stay ?
Never had a problem getting sunbeds they were plentyful you wont need to slip anything to get one.
We went in August and had no problem getting a bed. If you want the front row then you may have to get up earlier, we used to get our beds then go for breakfast but didn't sometimes go down till gone 10 and there was still plenty. Try the pizza at lunchtimes it's fab. You will have a fantastic time lucky you!!!!
Elaine
