We stayed there in December and loved it. Lovely big rooms, nice quiet pool and some of the best staff we've ever met. It's a basic 2 star but had a lovely atmoshere. Very friendly and relaxed. The staff are well looked after by the management and it shows. Very laid back. Pool was cleaned every day and always a good supply of pool towels. Pretty good menu too (though we only ate in a couple of times). We didn't stay in a private apartment but couldn't cmplain at the standard of our room. It was cleaned every day. My sister loved it so much she's booked again for Dec 2009. It's right behind the Victor exotica. 5 mins off the main road so close enough to everything but nice and quiet at night.

as never stayed that far down in Candolim before,is it past the Panjim x road?

Yes it's past the Panjim crossroads. Probably about 5 mins walk from the crossroads. If you know Ma Thai it's slightly further than that but on the opposite side of the main road. It's not too far from everything/plenty of bars and restaurants around it.
