hi all, flying out to greece 10th july from manchester ,going self catering, was wondering if we are allowed to take any food out these days,i know a couple of years ago it was all stopped.but we always used to take a cooler box with BIG BREKKY stuff in,plus butter, cheese etc.so are we allowed any of these items anymore or not.we love to eat out everynight, but mostly cos of hangovers we really enjoy are traditional breakky in apartments of a morning.AND please dont say in greece eat greek,as we do everynight but just enjoy english breekys too much!!!!
cheers all
laingy
p.s.maybe if the answer is no i could sneek some frozen stuff in case!!lol!!!!
The official line is that no meat or milk products may be taken across EU borders.
My mum usually takes frozen breakie stuff in cool box when flying to spain so thought I might do this same for going to Greece.
I will be packing super noodles and cheesy pasta for my son as he is very fussy eater at best of times.
If its in the case then surely they cant make you take it out??
If, and I do admit to saying if(!) they have sniffer dogs, they too might be hungry!!!
the only food items i take in my case are breakfast cereals, i likes me honey shreddies
