Sniffer dogs for food? Don't they feed them ? Or is there not enough drugs work for them to do ?
The dogs were looking for drugs and smelled the food
i will give you an update see you in 2 weeks
Ma Turkish mate wants me to take mature cheddar and richmond pork sausages9for his wife). We are travelling at night so im thinking they will be ok ion the cases in the hold.Or would they be better in the small cool bag?
you will need to put them in your suitcase as they will not allow them in your hand luggage
Hi Gunny, we always put ours in small cool bag with several of those gel ice-packs then in the case.
You can buy richmond sausages frozen, wondering wether i should buy frozen ones then let them defrost over the journey
I would take fresh because you can always freeze some over there, whereas if they're allowed to defrost it wouldn't be safe to do that.
at christmas we took lots of cheese in our hand luggage, we told the security and they said chees was no problem.
I always used to get people to bring me chees over when I lived in Turkey but I was never sure whether it was really allowed. There's nothing like a good mature cheddar!
Ooh yes Ive just tucked ınto a vıntage cheddar sandwıch wıth the cheese that my parents brought last week - Oh how I wısh for a good cheddar here!!
hi kedi i know now that you can get them there i didn't last year as it was my first time LOL
think you will find that you should not take meat products at all this applies to most places in the world you can get most things there are plenty of good supermarkets includung tesco in Turkey i know lots who do take bacon and sausages and have never heard of anyone being hauled in for it so far
Can anyone please tell me which foods are not allowed to be taken into Turkey in hold/cabin baggage?
