if you go into hotel reviews at the head of this site and under algarve you wll see several reports on this hotel, also if you look at the first item on this forum ref taxi and transfers you will get some good advice and prices etc. we always come out at this time of year and mostly have had excellent weather (last year wall to wall sunshine for 2 weeks temps 27degrees in day and 19 at night).

I think you'll find that a private transfer is usually cheaper than a taxi.
