Am I glad you've posted something since I was beginning to wonder if I was the only person left on this site, looking at the consecutive postings I've made recently!

The info as ever is of use to us cause although we are going as a package we'd rather get our holiday off to a good start and use a taxi to get from the airport rather than mess about late at night visiting everybody elses hotel! Mind you I always ask how much before we use a taxi in Malta - learn't that one years ago,

just to say that those fares are a fair bit higher than I ever pay - eg airport to Cirkewwa - I pay lm 8, not lm 13, but lm 13 is what you pay if you take a taxi off the rank at the airport, rather than phoning up in advance

So if I arrive late at night which I know I will (about midnight) how can I book in advance? - or can I make a phonecall for a taxi from the airport and get the cheaper prices? Suggestions about who I should phone would be most welcome,

I'm in the UK, rather than at home in the UK, so don't have the numbers, but I think I put them on an earlier thread about taxis. Best is to call in advance - I normally do so a day or 2 before.
