Just got back last night and spent Thursday in Mumbai. There the tuk tuks have meters and a journey that would cost 150-200 rps in Goa was about 40. Profiteering or what?

I had the same in Mumbai, one trip I made, the fare was 13 rupees!!!! Candolim tuk tuk drivers won't even think of starting up there engine's for under 100 rps, they are getting really greedy, well they will suffer because I think more and more of us are taking the local buses to get to our destinations.

I actually caught a bus into the town centre today, it felt strange sitting on a bus, without someones, bum being right in your face, or having to fight your way onto and off the damn thing.
