Taxi or Train to Cavellossim

Hi,

We are staying in Calangute. If taking cost/time into account, what does everyone see as the best option for a 1 or 2 night stay in Cavellossim. This year we travelled to Palolem but it took a descent chunk of the day up. How much approx does a taxi cost return ?

Jimbo, we went to Cavelossim last November for a 2 night stay, the cost of the taxi was 1600 each way and took approximately 2 hours. That was from Calangute too.
