I have recently found myself having to edit posts and pm members who use text message words. We do not allow these in posts. I can't explain it better than Pippy in the Help and Assistance forum so I have copied it here

When you post a message on Holiday Truths, you'll see our rules of posting..

Rules Of Posting:

1) Do NOT post in all CAPITALS - Your post WILL be deleted.
2) Do NOT post in TXT message style - Your post WILL be deleted.
3) Do NOT post in all Bold - Your post WILL be deleted.


Mods/admin often have to edit out text style words and request members not to post in a similar style again.

This may seem like a very petty rule (I used to think so), but there is a very good reason for it.

Visually impaired members may need to use a screen reader.

When abbreviations and natural language changes are not identified, they may be indecipherable when machine-spoken or brailled.

Where I know a member has ignored reminders the posts will be deleted. I would not normally delete where I think a member is unaware.
