The hardest desicion I have to make!

So it's come to that time of year again when I have to decide where should I go on holiday??

So i thought you lovely holiday orientated people could help me a long!

So heres my wishlist;

1 - Don't want to go to greece (been and is lovely but fancy a change)

2 - Don't want to go to spain (not really me)

3- Like it hot

4 - have to have a beach (a nice one hopefully

)

5 - Want it to be a mix between quiet and bustly, not overun by toursits!

6 - Needs to have some history

7 - Need to go in July

8 - Would like to speand about £800 between 2 of us but am willing to go up to about £1200 - dont really want to but if its special you know

Can anyone help me?

We stayed in Playa blanca, Lanzarote a couple of years ago and we loved it. Although I know you said spain is out but wasnt sure if you'd marked off the surrounding islands too. We stayed at the playa limones bungalows (very basic but ideal!!) which was at the nicer end away from the touristy part. We hired a car to travel round the island so we had the best of both worlds. We loved it!

Would have to agree with Lisamj, went to cyprus for the first time this year stopping in protaras and fell in love with it, plenty to see and do. Will be going back some time in the near future, but like to travel and see other countries and places. Always a hard job when it comes to looking for places to go for holidays.

Olu Deniz was actually my main thought but I was told from early jluy through to end of august it's very over tourist poplulated?

i would have to say Pernera Cyprus...July...very hot...nice and quiet and Protaras is very near which is busier by not overun with tourist, also loads of History...beautiful beaches...

I agree with welshmumsy. Pernera, a resort in itself just outside Protaras, would be ideal. Plenty of little bays where you can snorkell lots of accomodation near the sea, good quality restaurants, Bars, and plenty of shops. Will be HOT in July. :wave
