This should be a magnificant sight for anybody interested in aviation or modern Maltese history
Hi Graham, I have been watching the progress of this project for some time now and it is great that it looks like it is finally going to happen because at times it did look seriously in doubt, having visited the avaiation museum at Ta Qali and read numerous books on the second great seige I think it will be a very moving occasion for the veterans of the seige and of course the now elderly Maltese who had to endure the bombing, I really wish we could be over to see this magnificent sight just hope that Dive.com capture it for posterity.
While there I nipped into the museum at Ta Qali and they were working on restoring a Hurricane which I was told would be air worthy. I'm just wondering if this is the plane they are going to use? The spitfire in the museum certainly didn't look air worthy though.
Wish I was there to witness this event!
