Hello everybody!
My partner and I are planning on getting married in Whistler in Jan 2009 as he is a snowboarder and I want to learn to ski. We would really like his parents to come out with us, but they do not ski or snowboard and would not really enjoy learning. They are more beach and sightseeing people!
Obviously, we are not going to be able to provide a beach for them, but are wondering what else could tempt them to come out with us? They are pretty fit, are late 50s/early 60s, enjoy walking and go on fairly strenuous coastal walks in Cornwall on a once a week basis. I don't think they would go for anything extreme like white water rafting, however, so nothing too scary please!
They would not have to be in Whistler for the whole stay (we are going to be out there for 14 nights, but would imagine they would come out for 10 nights as 7 nights might be a bit too much of a turnaround).
Any and all suggestions would be very gratefully received!
Thanks, Aimi
Afternoon tea at the Fairmont hotel is also a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
