We're going on holiday to Cayo Coco in a couple of weeks, and was wondering what people did out there and what they enjoyed the most.
We will probably fly over to Havana, and do the snorkelling etc, but what else is there.
Thanks in advance.
There is not a lot to do outside the hotels, best trips Jungle Adventure (self drive speedboats plus snorkeling) Catamaran trip includes lunch and snorkeling. I regret not doing the Havana Trip. There is also a local bus that tours all the resort hotels if you want to check out other hotels. More info and links to photos on my website below.
Not a lot just relaxation there is nothing on the cayos unless you do and excursion and i think the trip to havanna is by coach, we did it when we were in guadavalaca and we flew from there but im sure it is a coach trip from the cayos.
Hi, We spent a fortnight in Cayo Coco in 2007, we spent the first 5 days doing various trips and found there was a good variety of trips on offer. You can fly up to Havana (about 1 hour flight) and you can stay over night or come back the same day, well worth doing! There is also a dolphin swim trip which also takes you on an over night stay to visit santa maria, trinidad and cienfego (cant remember if thats how to spell it). The james bond trip where you can drive your own speed boat and snorkle in the mangroves. As well as various other trips. All evening entertainment is hotel based.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
