Egypt is a good place for kids. try xl.com for flights and hilton sharks bay, have kids club and kids pool with slide on hilton.com, or another hotel if you have seen one. I prefer 7 days but you can do less. if you do this e-mail hotel with details and they will arange transfers for you cheaper than airport taxis
Well speaking as someone who has been twice both for 7 nights. I would be loathe to do less.
Even with 7 nights because it's a 5 hour flight on the way out and nearly 6 hours on the way back, then getting to the airport two to three hours before check in, you really only get 6 days in resort.
If you do go I would push for 5 days not 4 as I think the travelling can be very exhausting.
I think for odd flight durations you will need to go with INVALID URL TUI, FC, TC et al all seem to do just 7 or 14 nights.

I would agree that only a few nights is simply to short because there is such a lot to do, unless of course you can do a two centre twinned with somewhere else. Have you tried Kioni or tradewinds, you can choose your own itinerary, and tailor make your own holiday?

That is why you will see lots of comments on the forum about them trying to get money out of you. We went last year with girls of 15 & 10 years old and had no problems. Going all inc is hectic but if that is what you want. If you put short holidays to egypt on your browser you may find what you are looking for. We are going back again this year as we want to see the Pyramids etc but were too far away from them last year (Hurghada). Good hunting.
