don't know if regulars have noticed but it seems that since we gave Goa its own forum it is a lot busier! To be honest I can struggle at times to keep up with all the new posts- as well as my four other forums and a full time job!
Regulars already come on here and give a lot of good advice to newcomers and that is why it is so successful. This is a plea to those regulars. Would anyone be willing to provide links to info on our forum or to our hotel reviews for "newbies"?
MrsMac has already agreed to help with the hotel review links ( she already frequently gives link to posts with info) However, I do think the more, the merrier!!
Linb has kindly volunteered to compile a list of the most popular restaurants in Candolim ( going by the ones most frequently recommended in our thread). If anyone could help with a list for another resort that would really benefit others!

We have a great community atmosphere in the Goa forum. Long may it continue!

Thanks to the members who have responded to my plea to post links for newcomers ( and to Lin for her work on the restaurants). Just wanted you to know it hasn't gone unnoticed! I really appreciate the extra help!

Due to the the site being busy would it not be possible for it to have sub discussion forums i.e a board within the main one for topics such as Goa areas, restaurants/eating, trips and the stickies etc, etc rather than the individual threads it makes it hard for people to find the topics as they dissapear off the board and no body uses the search function.

I use two or three other sites and they all have seperatae sub boards for each topic so it keeps it all relevant and clean :?:

what you have suggested sounds ideal but not possible for our forum I'm afraid.
Now- what about stickies? We could have one for each resort, one for trips, one for beaches, one for what to buy, one for food. one for hotels................
