This years Holi....

Hi all

..
This years Holi (festival of colour) is on Saturday 22nd March....
I hope all of you who are in Goa on that date take part in the fun (no choice really

)...
I think there will be some colourful people at the Saturday night markets....it took me 3 days last time to get all the paint off me...

Anyone got any tips how to get the paint off ....oh and all the ones going when it will be on bring some old clothes
to wear all that day ..then bin them :rofl

Hi,
We fly from east mids this time which is great for us as its only up the rd from us we fly thursday afternoon not sure what time. so will be there 1st thing fri morning feeling very tired,hoping to be able to get in our room early for a little kip b4 hitting the beach :sun2

Hi Spinner,think Holi is a festival for all India,the colours are really hard to remove,
so remember the old shirt and shorts :rofl

we were there for holi last year and it was great fun.we spent the day at 21 coconuts and they covered everyone with the coloured powder.they would start with one colour and we'd all laugh,go in the sea and rinse it off.have a few more drinks and then another colour would come out.i have photos of my husband looking like the incredible hulk-green all over! shame we missed it this year as its later.even the shack dogs got coloured stripes down their noses.

Holi is Sunday 20 March. Its our first day in Goa, and Irishcolleen has told me to come down to the beach and see her, probably so she can cover me in paint :rofl
