Premium economy doesn't exist due to tax reasons. It's not an easy answer, but explained on this page.

Thanks for the impressively quick and detailed reply. Maybe you could answer another couple of questions for me:
So my girlfriend and I are travelling as a couple on OY-VKI to Orlando. If we get seats 14h and K, how restricted will the legroom be on 14k? If it was your decision, would you rather go for row 14 with the emergency slide issue or row 2 with the proximity to the toilet and potentially a bit less elbow room? Do you know whether both rows have overhead bins (I'm guessing row 14 may not but I think row 2 does) and whether the flight attendents have a jump seat in front of these rows? The other thing I like to consider is the seat pitch of the row behind me. As a person who always suffers with the lack of seat space myself, I try my best not to impede on the people behind me when reclining. Do you know what the seat pitches for rows 3 and 15 are? Sorry for asking so many questions, but I tried to get this info from TC and they seemed quite reluctant to advise.

Everyone will perceive things differently. The encroachment isn't excessive in my view and still gives plenty of room. I'd certainly be happy enough sitting in 14K for 10+ hours. I've sat in worse for 14 hours! It's not my decision so not really up to me to say either way really. Seating is always personal preference and if you ask 10 people, you'll probably get 10 different answers. From experience, I would stay clear of rows around toilets due to constant traffic and passengers queuing in the isles, noise of flushing etc, but that's just me. All rows have overhead bin space although emergency equipment is located at the front of the cabins so you may not have enough room immediately over you head, you may have to use the one adjacen or behind but it's still within easy reach. You won't be permitted to put bags under seats during take-off and landing. Seat pitch for rows in the forward cabin is 32". The centre and rear cabins are 29". Personally, I don't recline my seat during the flight in respect of those behind me. The exception is on overnight flights if the person behind is asleep so it won't effect them. The trick is to look behind before reclining. Customer services don't always have specific aircraft information, they know about holidays. We are flying out from Manchester to Sanford on 22 Jul flight TCX224, inbound 05 Aug flight TCX225. I have a few queries.

Have been online and reserved seats 4A 4B 4C 4D and 4F. Now, is this right, what happened to E? We are a family of 2 ad & 3 children so wanted to be together. Also, in your opinion are these seats ok?

On the Thomas Cook site it says that pushchairs and car seats (to go in hold) are free for infants under 2, but over the age of 2 for pushchairs the weight comes out of your baggage allowance; we are not taking a pushchair but want to take a car seat and it doesnt say about that for over 2s. we only have 15 kg each Our son aged 5 does need a booster seat on way to Man airport and in USA. Do they actually take this out of the allowance, cant remember doing that before with our older children.

Talking of baggage allowance, if we paid to increase would we have to increase all 5 passengers allowance or could we just increase one?

Also, I heard that the airline hire psp's for the flight as it does not have seat back ife. How would we go about doing that for our 5 yr old?

MAN-SFB-MAN (TCX224/5) are operated by an Airbus A330-300. The forward cabin is configued 3-3-3, the centre and rear 2-4-2 so there isn't an 'E' seat up front. The seats are together though, ie D and F. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including seat maps, aircraft and cabin photos. Seating is personal preference but those in the forward cabin have 3" more seat pitch so the ones you're looking at are fine. The booster seat will be taken from your baggage allowance as it's not essential for travel. PSP's are no longer available. The aircraft has mainscreen IFE located above the isle. A link to the current inflight magazine is on our What Aircraft? guide with current listings. You'll just need to register with Ink Publishing to view it. When you increase baggage allowance, it aplies to all those under the same booking reference. You can pool your allowance though.

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me. I have booked to go Cayo Guillermo 22nd. March for 2 weeks from Manchester, I paid £50.00 each for the old premium seats for our return which now looks highly unlikely they will be there in March. Also when I booked I was booking a 33" pitch seat for my outbound flight which also looks highly unlikely. I have not received a letter yet to tell me that the seats will be 29". I have phoned my travel agent up (T. Cook) and she says I will probably get a letter soon. What I want to know if this is the case do you think they will let me cancel and re-book with First Choice to another area in Cuba? The travel agent says yes but half the time T. Cook give out wrong information. Thanks

The A332's are being reconfigured at the end of the summer season to an all economy layout so the former premium seats won't be onboard. More details on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Changes to aircraft are covered under their terms and conditions so if you cancel, you are likely to lose your deposit, although you'll have to wait for the letter to see what they offer.

I was wondering whether anyone can help.

This is the first time we've used TC airlines to fly to Florida, having only ever flown with them before within Europe. We're due to fly to Sanford on the 19th August 2011 from Manchester - flight number TCX224. Firstly, we'd be interested to know what seat-plan configuration the plane might be and also whether seatback IFE will be available. We've had conflicting information regarding this so it would be good to know, once & for all, whether this is likely.

We're also getting conflicting information about the flight times. Our holiday itinerary states that we're due to fly out at 11.00 am, but we've heard through other forums & websites that the flight time is actually 12.30 pm. We've checked with our agents to see if the flight time has changed for some reason, but they haven't heard anything to confirm this. We'd be interested to know whether anyone else is flying out on the same flight and has a definite time confirmed.

Have a look at my post to Drat above as he's also on the same flight. Seat back IFE isn't installed on this aircraft, it has screens located above the isles. With regards to flight times, these will be confirmed on your tickets when you get them. Never rely on changes posted on forums, always go off the information provided by your tour operator or airline. If it has changed, they will contact you or confirm it on tickets. The flight is showing on Thomas Cooks system as departing at 1230, arriving in SFB at 1630. The departure on the inbound flight is 1830, arriving back in MAN at 0750 the following morning, but check on your tickets when you get them.

The flight time you have stated as being quoted on Thomas Cook systems is obviously showing up as a different time to our booking confirmation, so as you say, no doubt this will be confirmed when our tickets arrive. We've booked our car hire separately, based on the initial flight times, so looks like we'll be amending this, if this is the case.....!!!

Hi, We are travelling to punta Cana from gatwick on 25th July. We booked our seats online 38 j & h and 39 j & h as this showed us a 2 x 2 set up by the window. We got our tickets today and not only has the flight time changed slightly but the seat configuration it shows with our tickets is different making row 38 a row of 3 seats near the window instead of 2 seats. Does anyone have any information on this please or know where I can check this out. I specifically booked the 2 x 2 as this suits us, dont want to make a big thing of it but what configuration plan should I go by.
