Hi SUNADDICT
We are flying from Gatwick. Have they used Mint before then? any good? fingers crossed that i can book seats ok without incurring extre cost, despite buying bundle, after 23rd March! Hopefully by the time we fly they will have these probs sorted out. I have already completed the API but of course they want it again! Just want to add that i called into my local branch of TC this week and they were really helpful, despite my booking online, and offered to help if no joy by next week, which i thought was worth a mention

My son is flying to Cuba from Manchester on 28th of March he has been told its a A333 will he have seat back ife on this aircraft?
It must be showing the wrong seat plan then on the website. It says they're hoping the issues will be sorted by Monday 19th so will log on again then and see what it looks like then and if I still have a seat reserved!
Please be aware, that if you have purchased the Bundle to booking ******, due to a technical issue if you attempt to reserve your standard seats these will apply an additional charge.
We are working hard to resolve and hope to have this fixed by the 23rd March 2012. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and ask passengers to reserve their seats after the above date.
the weird thing is that there are 4 of us and i bought the bundle for all 4 of us but this email was only concerning my daughter, strange and i hope it gets sorted
All the aircraft details are on the What Aircraft? guide.
Sunadict / jennyc,
Thomas Cook as well as many other airlines subcharter aircraft to operate flights from other airports. It's nothing out of the ordinary. They used Mint last year on selected flights in the summer season. They operate a basic service using the same aircraft type as Thomas Cook. Other than the name on the side of the aircraft, you'll notice little difference.

Good luck everyone for 23rd March - you know the system will probably crash as we all attempt to reserve seats
For what it's worth, some time ago we pre-booked our seats and completed the API for a holiday later this week. We have been able to get onto the TC system today, confirming our previous booking details were unchanged and completing the on-line check-in. Hopefully, this is a sign of things getting back to normal and everyone will find similar reassurance from now on...
Flying from Manchester to Las Vegas on Weds 4th April TCX 124. Can Darren advise me where the plane comes in from or is it at Manchester overnight?
We have prebooked seats but I am not clear if we can do on line check in as well to save time, any advice please.
Thanks
I've booked extra leg room seats 9GHJ on out bound and in bound flights but on checking today again it's not showing 9J as an extra leg room seat!! I paid £40 for each seat each way.
I can't speak to anyone online or on the phone as they are still having problems.
Any thoughts? Cheers.

With Thomas Cook Airlines you can't check in online for USA flights.

It normally operates a Cancun charter the day before arriving back in the early hours prior to your flight. The flight numbers are normally TCX126/7.

I know on line check in works well going out...as have done it for gran caneria...but what benefit will it have coming back from rhodes ....didnt seem to make any difference from gran caneria...we were all in a big long queue...the reps didnt tell those with check in on-line to go else where....tweetie pie
ps....came here to ask....Flight TCX2072 11th july....do you think it will be a busy flight....think likely we will get seats together ....or big need to prebook seats

It's a while since I've been through RHO so I wouldn't know to be honest. I would assume it's like you've experienced coming through LPA. Online check-in only really works with hand luggage as you still have to check your baggage in so the time saving is lost. There should really be a dedicated baggage drop-off desk but not everywhere has it.
Tweetie, answered on the other thread, but for information with Thomas Cook Airlines you can't check in online for your inbound flight, only on flights leaving the UK.

We can't comment on load factors, but given the time of year, it's safe to say it'll be pretty full. If you don't want to be split-up and for peace of find, that's what pre-booking is for.

thanks Darren...tweetie
First post so here goes; hope someone can help,
We're flying to Sanford from Glasgow on flight number TCX634, Sunday 29TH July 2012. Can anyone please tell me what the aircraft is likely to be; would it be the Airbus A330?
We live in Northumberland and flying from Glasgow seemed to be the cheapest option when I booked way back last October - we have 2 boys, aged 12 and 15.
Mant thanks,
David
hi David....you can breath out now...youve managed your first post....nice to see you on HT....would love to help but aircraft ect not something I know much about...just wanted to say hello and welcome...sure David or one of our other experts will be along soon to help...tweetie
Welcome onboard
GLA-SFB-GLA (TCX634/5) are indeed operated by Airbus A330-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
