Hi Gower
Thanks for the speedy reply, will check back nearer the time.

Palin2009,
I have a list of what flights will be operated by which aircraft.
Your flight will be operated by an ex-FCA aircraft, The aircraft taking you to Barbados will operate TOM093 beforehand from Cancun, Mexico, if you want to keep an eye on any delays. There is a spare 767 on a Friday morning should any delays occur anyway.
Enjoy Ventura, its an amazing ship.
GowerL7,
The flights for Ventura start on the 6th November, rather than 4th December.

How come it did not cost you anything?
Z.J.C
zjc, it looks like Thomson have now made this free of charge. i am booking for Nov09 and there is a message on the
website when you are booking that if you prebook seats together they will email you before departure with details of
how you can book specific seat numbers free of charge!
Jason
JasonMack,
I Am Pleased To Advise That Your Flight TOM2308 Will Be Operated By A Boeing 737-800 (Winglets)

I only noticed it today gower. It actually says they will email 2 months before departure with details of how to book seat numbers
as long as you pre book seats together first.
I am suprised as I thought they liked the revenue!

RE: THOMSON SEAT NUMBERS FREE OF CHARGE
I've just booked Premium Upgrade with Thomas Cook, paid for the seats together, and was advised to contact the airline direct to book specific seats number at no extra charge.

Hi z.j.c.
Just referring to Cymruled 1106 posting regarding no charge for booking seats together, and just thought I'd mention that TC don't charge for them either.
Regards,
Pat

Good to know this as I'm off to Cancun in November and have prebooked seating together, though as I booked via Thomson Travel Agent looks looks as if i'll have to sort it over the phone as the select a seat website only appears to work for 'online' bookings.
Also, have the winter aircraft schedules been released yet and if so, what 767 type is likely to be operating BHX-CUN? (Ex FCA or ThomsonFly?)
Finally, any seat rows to avoid in their 767's? I'm not fussed where I sit aslong as I get a window for the 13 hr journey!

TOM374/5 (Birmingham-Cancun) is operated by a exThomsonfly 767 for the winter season, operating via Manchester for a refueling stop.
