Hi
I'm flying on TOM092 -LGW-CUN this Thursday 17th June. Following the recent problems with the longhaul fleet aircraft, can you confirm if the plane is an ex-First Choice or will it be a Thomson?
sonicboom- you can ask the hospital to put a split cast on, they might only agree to this in the last week of the cast, they plaster as normal then cut it half and keep it in place with velco straps. I had this done when i broke my ankle 3 years ago and it was brilliant as long as you were careful. I removed it when sunbathing to save getting a white lower leg but always put it back on even if only getting up to go the bar etc.
Hi, I have booked a flight with Thomson from Belfast to Palma and have booked inflight meals. It is an early morning flight, so could anyone tell me what the meals will consist of, and does anyone have experience of the Thomson kid's meals? Also, should I prebook seats or should we be automatically be sitting together as we are having meals? Thanks
cannot see this flight on the manchester arrivals .can you confirm that this is the aircraft to be used on tom 196 to cancun tomorrow
thanks gaz
Seats are pre-allocated before the flight so the majority of passengers will be sat together. However, unless you have pre-booked seating together, there are no guarantees.
Darren
Your aircraft should be coming in from Puerto Plata (TOM122/3), operated by G-OOAN.
Have a great holiday

Can you confirm flights TOM4126/4127 (LGW-LPA-LGW) flying out on Monday 30th August and returning on 13th September are operated by a 757-200w?
If this is the case, I know the majority of the ex-first choice fleet got the winglets ( so we would be more likely to be travelling on an ex-FCA aircraft); I'm wondering if you know whether or not they also received the Recaro interiors when the winglets were installed and/or when they got repainted?
Regards,
2morrows pilot 2day
Your flights haven't changed. Interiors of the First Choice / former First Choice 757-200's have the same green leather interiors, they aren't being changed.

My family and another family are off to Holguin on the 26th June from Manchester, (Tom108) we have pre booked our premuim seats 7a,b,c,d, & 8a, b ,c. I have a small concern from reading previous posts that a few aircraft are being changed for operational reasons. Can anyone confirm that we will still be on a ex First Choice plane that has 9 rows in premium. Also if the aircaft is changed to a Ex Tom Fly plane with 5 rows in premuim I presume we will be moved into ecomony?
Thank you
No one can guarantee your flight wont be effected by a change until the day of your flight as aircraft can have technical issues at any time and therefore aircraft may need to be changed at short notice. TOM108/9 have only been effected a couple of times so far this season due to technical issues when an aircraft was grounded for several days. All aircraft (FCA 763's) are currently operational so assuming no technical issues between now and your flights, the aircraft won't be changed.
Darren
feel abit ripped off though as i was told the flight would not be open until 20 June for select your seat and the computer had seated us altogether anyway.
Just hope the children will be able to see the TV screens.........
rant over
You can select your seat from 90 days before your flight by phone or 60 days online. Those passengers that have prebooked seating will have seats assigned. If a large proportion have seating prebooked, the result is what you see. Screens are located approximately every 4 rows so they should be able to view at least one screen.
Darren
Thanks for the info and speedy response, fingers crossed that there are no techinical issues with the aircaft.
The software behind the website places your seats randomly when logging in and is not the final seating plan for the flight so even thought it put you together thats just a random suggestion at the end of the booking period the computer booking closes and the rest of the seats are allocated so if there are 4 seats left in one row and then another two say at the front it would change to those.
Hi,does anyone know why the TOM7260/1 EMA-TFS-EMA was delayed yesterday,i was checking it as we are going on that flight on tuesday 22nd june and it should have departed EMA at 14:40 hrs but didn't leave until 22:44 hrs and the flight back to uk is still in TFS as i write,it is now scheduled to arrive back at 20:25 hrs but should have arrived at 00:15hrs today ?? i hope we don't have such a long delay like that,it will be a nightmare with my 17 month old
Not that its important, but whats the reason behind the 767 technical issues? im just nosey
Maybe Darren will be able to put us right, but i think i read that the French air traffic controllers were in a dispute yesterday.
Could be wrong though, probably are
Think airspace around spain and france was disrupted due to industrial action by french atc.. doesnt make things easy
There are many technical reasons as to why an aircraft could be delayed. The most recent was with a B763 Needing a replacement engine whilst in Cancun, Mexico. This meant that the aircraft was out of service until a replacememnt was sent out.
All the 673's are currently operational at the moment.

Cheers for the info. I know the list is endless of things that can go wrong. i was just interested to know what the issue was with the 76. bet that made a lovely credit card bill for thomson/tui
