Darren,
Thanks anyway.
Do you still get a seat map with your tickets?
Reply
rhodgreen,

You do, but they often send the wrong seating plan in them. You might be lucky and get the correct one. You'll be looking for the one with 5 rows of premium seating and 2-4-2 in economy.

I suppose my only concern is (and this probably wouldn't even show on a seat plan), assuming we're going to book AB seats in front of the wing - are there any seats without a window?
Reply
rhodgreen,

Yes, there are. I thinks it's about row 9, the rear of the forward section then about row 10, 12 and 14 after the L/R2 doors. It's where the air conditioning pipework and wires are routed. I think the row immediately behind the L/R 3 door are effected too.

Angie34,

That's the old seating plan for the premium equiped aircraft with 315 seats. I have a link to a similar one on the What Aircraft? thread also showing the current short haul configuration. The refurb removed 4 rows of seats in order to increase seat pitch and now only have 283 seats.

Thanks for putting that info straight for me.

Mark,

Try calling about 10am. If you call after the early morning rush and before lunch (ie when people are at work), you can normally get through straight away. That's when I normally call and hardly ever enter a queue.

Hi Darren,
Are the Thomsonfly 737-800s configered for 189 pax and have a similar layout to the Eurocypria 737-800s.

Well it was only a 10 minute wait. Booked seats together and now another policy has changed.

They are now charging for debit card transactions :banghead:

I really do despair.

Hi Mark,
Yes they charged my wife when she booked our seat numbers in January. The way its going they will price themselves out of the market.

qatarman,

I think you posted on the Thomas Cook thread originally by mistake! Yes, seating plans on all economy 738's are pretty much standard with 189 seats. You'll find a seating plan on Eurocypria's website and more information on the Eurocypria thread. The Thomson Airways 738 seating plan is here.

Hi Darren,
I was lookig to see where the first post had gone ,its an age thing.Cheers for the plan.

Yes, Thomson charged me £1 for booking my 5 premium seats with a credit card, but I was told it would be £2-50 if I used my debit card ! Usually it's the other way round and often there is no charge with a debit card. Another nice little earner!

Can someone tell me whether BHX-NAP Tom7556 during May will be 757 or 737?
Which rows have their views blocked by the wing? Thanks
Reply
wasginge,

Welcome onboard :tup
BHX-NAP-BHX (TOM7556/7) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details. Row 11, and approx rows 16/17 don't have windows.
