BHX-VRN (Verona) won't be 6:45, so it will change, more likely 2hours or so(from memory)

Thanks BY-TOM-AMM-FCA. Presumably this makes it approx 8.45. At least most of the shops will be open when we get there and a bit longer in bed!!! ;)

Is there any way I can find out the times or do I have to wait for the tickets? The holiday website is still showing 06.45 for the Wednesday flight out.

wasginge,

You should really have been notified of any changes, but times will be confirmed on your tickets.

thejohn,

It's way too early to know what will be assigned in Feb 2012. I'll know from November. It's normally an ex-FCA though. Seating is personal preference. They're all the same in terms of seat pitch and facilities so it's whatever you prefer, isle, window, etc. Row 9 hasn't got a window. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi all!

I am flying to Punta Cana on the 25/6/11 and returning 10/07/11. Flight numbers TOM742 and TOM743. Can anyone tell me if its a ex-tom or ex-first choice flight? I've had a look on the what aircraft sight but nothing is coming up yet from what I can see.

Many Thanks
Graeme

graeme235,

I can't confirm it until May, but it should be an ex-FCA.

Hello

I'm planning a holiday to Cyprus in a couple of weeks' time.
Thomson are offering me a choice of two flights and I'm wondering what aircraft will operate on each.
Departure date 20 April MAN-PFO TOM 2336 or TOM 7352
Return date 27 April PFO-MAN TOM2337 or TOM 7353

I haven't flown with Thomson for at least 7 years, since they were Britannia. The aircraft on this route used to be a Boeing 767 which was great for couples because of the two seats by the window. I am pretty certain they don't operate this aircraft on this route any longer, but would just like to check.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Doobyduck,

Welcome onboard :tup
MAN-PFO-MAN (TOM2336/7) are operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets)

MAN-PFO-MAN (TOM7352/3) isn't showing on the schedule under those flight numbers, the second flight, departing at 09:05 is showing as TOM2316/7 so there may have been some changes in the flight numbers. This flight is operated by an Airbus A321-200.

The former Britannia (Thomsonfly) Boeing 767-304/ER (now with winglets) are still used to PFO on selected days through the summer season, eg on the TOM2316/7 (Weds) and TOM2730/1 (Sun) last summer, but with a newer interior since you last travelled on them.

You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Mikc,

LGW-HOG-LGW (TOM095/6) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find seat plans and lots of other aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seating is very much personal preference. All seats in economy, other than extra legroom offer the same pitch and facilities so whatever you prefer really.

Hi again Darren,I did have a look at the plans but i noticed that there is 2 versions listed. One has row 19 as the last seat before a gap (v2),and the other one is a more central position (v1). It looks like both are over the wing.

Mikc,

There are 6 ex-FCA 763's in their fleet, 5 in the V2 and 1 in the V1. They swap and change virtually every week so it's impossable to say which it will be this far away from your flight. One of the differences is the position of the over wing exit, hence it's on row 20 on the V2 and 28 on the V1.

Hi
Just to answer the question about the pampering packs asked a couple of pages back - we got back from Maldives yesterday flying in premium and noticed a few 'cut corners' compared with our previous experiences. There are no pampering packs and nothing that was in them is provided; socks, toothbrush etc. The menu cards have gone and we didn't get a bottle of water on the way out. Also there was an advert for Urban Decay cosmetics before each film and tv programme on the way out (drove me bonkers though you could fast forward through it!) but strangely it wasn't there on the return.

But the food was as good as ever, the service great, and there was a free Daily Mail each way and OK magazine pack on the return.

Have a great trip!

Beth
