For 200 Cigs you can pay anywhere from 4 euro (really cheap rubbish) to 20 euros.

Depends on what brand you are after really, but normally cheaper in the resort than Airport.

The cheaper places along the strip are normally in the dodgy Electric shops, also 'some' super markets are quite cheap.

Just watch out for fake British brands - bought some fake Regal ('made in England') in Matagorda once. The Spanish Regal taste slightly different, but are still better than the fake British ones! The big supermarkets are unlikely to stock the fakes, however.

Def buy in Lanzarote - much much cheaper. About £15 for 200

you can get 200 embassy or superkings for around €17(12 quid).the cheapo fags are just €3.49 for 200 and are smokeable im told!

Flew with Thomson and just returned last few days......they had a great long tern offer on all main UK brands on board. £20 for 400 or £15 for 200.

I couldn't beat the £20 price for 400 in PDC, they were on average the same price everywhere which was 16-17 EU per 200.

Airport was more expensive at 20 EU

just returned from P. blanca and found the same as sapphire did, they had 400 for £20 on thomson plane and around 20 euro for 200 in the airport, however i bought all the supplies they had in a spar supermarket near the harbour in P. Blanca of the "Sovereign" brand , basically B&H in a black pack which cost the pricely sum of 11.02 euros for 200!!!!! around £7.90 per outer or 79p a pack, the UK retail is about £4.50, and they were made in Weybridge by Gallaher , the same as the ones you buy in the UK.
The airplane offer is good but obviously you are limited to 200 per adult, where as "in resort" you can take a chance on whatever you want to buy, keeping in mind the Customs law on limits.

TangoBunny..............there are several good booze/cig shops in PDC, the biggest and often cheapest two are about 4 shops apart from one another.

If you get to the Casino and carry on along the front away from Centro Atlantico just past apartments called La Penita & Barcarola which are on the opposite side to the Casino you can't miss the shops mentioned.

I'm staying in La Penita so should be able to find them

If you mean the shop no........but literally if you come out of the bottom entrance of Penita and turn left & the shop in question is a few doors down on the same side.....you can't miss it.......they also usually have one of the best rates of exchange going too

Lil_Monkey........I'm afraid it's true 200 per peson Although the Canaries are classed as Spain they're not in the EU like mainland Spain and therefore your resticted to the limits imposed on tobacco, alcohol and perfumes etc. HOWEVER I think you'll find most people bring more than that back especially as they're so cheap in the Canaries. Just be very careful though as Customs & Excise also know this to be true and as such are fairly keen on stopping peeps when they're entering the UK.

Whatever you do don't try the old fav chesnut of thinking that "as Spain is in the EU you assumed the Canaries were too and as such were allowed 3,200" Trust me when I say they've heard it a million times before and I know through personal experience

Found it tango!!!! I had never heard of it before, but I saw it this morning in a small tabac, opposite Burger King at the Fariones end of the strip, next door to Autos Feber. It was 29.99€ for 10 x 50g packets. Not sure if it is a popular make here. The packets in the cabinet looked a bit scrotty, but maybe it is in other tabacs too!!!!!!!

No problem with that Tango, Golden Virginia is everywhere, about 5€ a packet
