I am finding that this forum is fast becoming full of repeat posts/topics.

To avoid this duplication many of them with the same content (ie. number of weeks/days/hours to holiday) , will be merged into one over the next day or so.

I could not agree more.

It would help if people actually looked what topics are there, before opening a new thread.

It would also help if people put meaningful titles for their topics.
