We have (finally!) decided that we are going to go camping for the weekend in Torquay (17-19th July) However I cant find a campsite in Torquay itself. We wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance of a beach and the town (or at least a pub) I am a bit confused as a lot of the sites are in Paignton or Torbay? I have never been to this part of Devon so not sure how far apart these places are. Can anyone recommend a campsite? We dont need entertainment/pools etc just clean showers and toilets.

paignton is about 21/2 mile from torquay.Its quite a big town,
Torbay covers the area from Torquay to Brixham with Paignton midway between the two.
