The shortest coach coach tranfer would be around 1hr if you went directly without any other stops. It depends on how many drop offs you have en route and where they are but it's not unusual for a transfer to take 1 1/2 to 2 hours from the airport.

If you're concerned you can get a taxi there in around 45 mins. For the distance it's not expensive, Lindos is 40 so no more than 45 euros.

woder if anyone has driven themselves from the airport to pefkos? we have our hire car for collection when we land. it will only be lunch time so no worries about the dark etc, but how easy is it to navigate your way to pefkos? will we be ok with a good map and a bit of patience?

V straightforward greek kitty, you'll have no problems. Head out of the airport and follow signs for Faliraki. After driving across the island you come to a set of traffic lights where you turn right (signposted Lindos i think). You are then on the main coast road and you follow it all the way down to Pefkos. Of course finding your accommodation once there might be a bit trickier but i'm sure your hotel will be able to give directions.
