Having run a quick check Travel Bag are part of Cedant Corporation who also own ebookers.
I'm confused about the return date being booked "wrong" and was then cancelled by Travelbag. Did you friend receive ANY paperwork defining the return flight - any notification of Travelbag's intention to cancel ?
If your friend paid by credit card get her to contact her card issuer, explain the situation and recover payment in full from the card issuer. Seems to me that Travelbag have breached their contract with your friend by cancelling the return element and that's grounds for recovery of monies from the card issuer under section 75 of the consumer credit act.
