I take it you have just booked this holiday? Insurance should be taken out as soon as the holiday is book incase the need to cancel arises.

we used the travel insurrance we had with our platinum card last year and the hospital bill was paid by them straight away,worth some checking what their cards cover and get phone number etc before you travel.What do you think you pay a charge each month for?Don`t know if it covers cancelation of the holiday,banks do a good variety of insurances

We have annual multi trip insurance via our bank, it covered the kids up to the age of 18, now they are working we use http://www.insureandgo.com/Travel-Insurance/travelhome.html check out the different levels of cover to suit your needs the cheapest isn't nessacarily the best deal
