can anyone help I have 2 travel brochures 1 states its 3 hrs by road from the airport suvarnabhumi to hua hin and another one says
4.5 hrs. does any one have an answer. going in jan 09 cannot wait .
I think we were about 3 and half hours- but haven't been since the new airport.

thanks for the info. staying in bangkok 1st shangri-la hotel then moving down to hua hin marriott hotel. spending 6 days then back 2

Have stayed at the Marriott. Lovely hotel.
We went last year and I think it was 4 hours journey, must admit it dragged because it is one long featureless road, will be wort it though
Should be nearer 3 hours now that the ring road around the south of Bkk is completed.
