If anyone is interested, I've just put a review on about the apartments - apart from the issue of extra charges for Air Conditioning, they are still very good value for money and include transfers. We've had a great time

Hi Neets,

Glad you had a good holiday. Do you know how much they are for a week, looking for somewhere in May and do they have a proper shower cubicle, can't cope with keeping soaking the bathroom every night :lol:

Hi Sandyglen we paid £200 in Sept for the week and this included transfers with air con £21 extra, the shower cubicle is full width of the room with proper sliding door and the shower itself had a really good pressure and unlimited hot water. powdie

hi just back from marmaris but went to icmeler as we have know chrises & ramazan for last 7 years! wow thats what the appartments are they are really lovely can't believe how it used to look to how it is now lovely i really wished we had booked with them its a defo for next year i wouldn't even leave the pool area is lovely nice size pool food is fab & staff are brill so freindly some of her staff have been there years so it shows you what they are like ! all i can say is good on you chris & ramazan !

Yes the £290 for two weeks is very good.

Nice apartments,great pool area.

As already stated, although you pay extra for the a/c the £290 does include your airport transfers. A lot of places you have to pay that on top.

Hi Janey1. If you don't mind me asking - who did you book your flight with ? We have been to Icmeler 15 times now and have always just bought a package, and must say have never paid over £300 each for two weeks (we always go May and September), and even though I was wanting a contact number for some friends of mine, Iam sorely tempted as the Travellers Rest Pub (and of course their chip shop) are great - we have had many a good night there and the food is super.

If you are thinking of booking the T.Rest for 2006 I have a feeling they maybe already booked up. some friends of mine booked for july 2006 when we were there this year and they only just got in.

Regarding flights. I have always used Icmeler on line.
For 2006, I have not booked our flights as yet. I keep looking. I think Excel airways are pretty good and if you type in LUCKY as a code you get extra discount as well.

Although I went through Icmeler on line this year we flew with Excel and they were great.
Let me no how you get on. I will continue to search.

hi theres some real good deals on flights at the min espically for may i got them up for £150 the other day ! you might be ok for the travellers rest in may but i know when we were out there in september there where a lot booking for then!

We have booked for Travellers Rest for 21st July for 2 weeks, aparently got the last two apartments for these weeks, friends our ours we met at Avlu 4 also booked whilst we were there for the same two weeks, two apartment also.

yea im sure that july & august was full i'm not surprised though as the appartments are lovely just wish i could get the flights cheap enough i found flights for around £150 but not sure now where i found them !

Thanks very much for the info on the Travellers Rest Apartments. I have passed the phone number to my friends. If they can't book next year I'm sure they will for 2007. We are quite possibly going to Icmeler in May - but I must admit I do quite fancy Olu Deniz for a change, and we are most definitely going in September to attend a wedding. Whilst I'm there I will book for the year after. Also thanks for the flight info, I didn't realise you could get flights that cheap - I was thinking in the region of £240.

Does anyone know where I can book from in the UK for the Travelers Rest appartments in the UK. I went to Icemeler and stumbled by it by accident and would like to book this year.

Yes, I have the number at home somewhere, we booked to go in July, there are two numbers to call, and a number in Turkey. Will find it out and let you know.
