Can anyone tell me if the baby's pushchair counts as part of our baggage allowance?
Also, can we take a third small suitcase with all baby things or are my Husband and I only allowed one case each?
We travelled last year with first choice - pushchair wasn't in baggage allowance and you were allowed to put it in hold as you enter plane. It was first off on carousel too!
If your child is under two I doubt you will have paid for a seat and will have the child on your lap (fun fun fun!)(calpol an hour before flight - magic!)!!
This will mean that you have no luggage allowance for the child.
If however your child is over two and he/she has a seat then they should also get a luggage allowance. We're travelling in two weeks with a 2 1/2 year old - she has 20kgs weight allowance this year.
Think you can break it down into 3 cases as long as you dont go over weight allowance. It might help with the weight!
As I said best for you to check with Portland directly.
Only take nappies for the first two days - can get huggies/pampers etc there. Also decant a lot of stuff ie shampoo etc. into smaller bottles.
Hope you have a great holiday

Hi Woodys girl, we have never had to include buggy in baggage allowance either and you are allowed tokeep it until you board. how old is the little one. if you like branded nappies, take your own, pampers are much dearer abroad. can you arrange for a baby pack through portland?
