Hello fellow Turkey-philes
My husband and I are visiting Kusadasi in October. We are staying at the Panorama Hills Hotel for 10 days. Do any forum members know this hotel and have any helpful information to share? We have not been to Kusadasi before and booked this accommodation through Sunmaster. Also, are there any local agents through whom we can book day trips to Ephesus, Izmir, etc? We stayed in Ovacik two years ago and booked several trips online before leaving the UK. However, once we arrived in Ovacik and saw what was available from local agents, we realised how much we'd over-spent in paying for the various trips from home. Finally, which are the best beaches in the area, and what is the easiest way to get there?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Kusadasi was the first place we visited in Turkey in 1990.
We went to Ephesus on the local Dolmus as it was just about 10 minutes from our hotel.
If we went again we would go with one of the local companies as there will be a guide.
The local companies are fine to go with and sometimes Thomson and Thomas Cook use the same companies but charge a lot more.
It was the last week in October when we went and the day we went to Ephesus it was 97F so take plenty of water and wear a hat as there is no shade there.
The beach we visited was named Kustur beach and it was north of the main town.
have a look on Google earth and you can see which beach is nearest to your hotel.
Dont know anything about your hotel as its probably been built since we were there.
