Now the motorway is in place how long does it take to drive and how much are the tolls?

About 3 hours drive, but i don't know about the toll costs I am afraid.

It cost us about 50 euros return, and that included crossing the bridge. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answer, 50 Euros, is that normal for Portugal, sounds a bit ritzy, of course any European cost sounds ritzy changed to Canadian!

You could use the parallel IP1 road a bit slower but no tolls.
