Sounds like you had a great time. Ive been hearing good things about the Pal Marina hotel. oceanic is our favourite beach shack also, everyone is so nice.
So are you another Goa addict who will be booking up again? :D

Always nice to read comments left by people who have just been for the first time. Heard some good stuff about First choice flights, Monarch are miles behind. Having said that, we are flying on Monarch (cattle class) in 3 weeks time.

Hi Irishcolleen

The day/night we spent at the retreat was definately one of the highlights. We had pre booked via their website(not sure if I am allowed to put the link on here but feel free to pm me if you want it). We were staing in Calangute and it took us just over 1hr to get there. compared to everyhting else in goa its a bit more expensive (£35 per person for 1 night). They have lovely cottages as accommodation, there are 2 elephants, they teach you about goan culture and traditional dress, evening meal with a jungle camp fire, they have two swimming pools and a jaccuzi, then in the morning you have the option of going on a sunrise walk finishing with a session of yoga, we had a go at everything and found the experience fantastic. Anyway let me know if you want any more info
