hi irish colleen yes flying out on 21/11 from gatwick with thomas cook, can.t wait wishing our lives away with exitment, hope to see you there we have booked 1 wk at cologna de braganza but have another 2wks after that 22 nights in all.
making this a temporary sticky as it is useful for Goa newbies. And of course, if you have any trips to recommend, feel free to add
is it worth visiting panjim for an evening,i have read about a restaurant there called the Delhi Derbar does anyone know of this restaurant, thanks
Hi Debs! We usually do this trip at least once while we are in Goa. Will make a night of it with you! I think they serve coffee!!

Went to India two months ago for my friend's wedding in Goa, beautiful beaches there......Also, went to The Taj Mahal , Wildlife sanctuaries, samosa stands...... impressive!
hiya goangirl, will hold you to that, along with a late one at anans???
Oh of course!! Can't wait!!
http://murudeshwar.org/ the place looks really wonderful booked to go for a few days in jan after being told about it theres a train everyday that runs from margoa at around 3oclock and its just a 3hr trip well worth a few days out taking a look at other parts of india
sharon
hi all if any of you fancy a train ride away then have a look at this web site sharon
xx lassi
Another place worth going to in that area is Jog Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India.
and the train 6337 leaves margoa @ 09.10 and gets you to bhatkal which is 18kms away from murudeshwar and arrives @ 12.12 runs on mondays and saturdays and on returning the 2620 train leaves murudeshwar @ 16.00 and arrives margoa 19.15 which runs all days so if needed then it could be a nice little day out instead of a few days
Anyway my intinerary is colva 1 night (as its close to margoa ) 2nights murudeshwar 2nights gokarna and 2nights karwar Ive never been to Karwar so if anybody can give a little info on the place it would be most wellcome
or inbetween murudeshwar and karwar there is a place worth visiting id love to know
anyway thanks for your comments

Hi Celcat
Anybody tried to contact DaytripperGoa via email lately? I have sent 3 emails over the last month without replies.
Hope they are still active as I fancied a trip they did.
Thanks
