Hope someone can please help me,we stayed in the tropical dreams apartments a few years back now,and for the life of me i cannot remember the barmans name round the pool,oh its in protaras by the way,who was on first name terms with everyone round the pool,but i cannot remember his name (must be my age),if anyone remembers him please please let me know,i wont sleep till i know .

hmmm......was his name costas??? youre right he was very friendly and remembered our names too...he also gave us free fresh peaches out of the fridge after we'd ate breakfast there one day...very refreshing!!

By the way...i stayed at tropical dreams apts in 2004...they were ok as we had a pool view but if id got a view of the wasteland at the back it wouldnt be so good....great location and pool/restaurant....not the cleanest apts ive stayed in but they were clean enough to enjoy our holiday.

keep an eye on your money and dont use the safety deposit boxes behind the reception...on our last day we had £50 stolen from our room and during the week my clothes were moved around a lot! Other people had money stolen from thier safety deposit boxes. As long as you are sensible you will be ok and have a good time.

Booked up and going to the Apartments in August, cant really find much info about the hotel on the web so was wondering if anyone has stayed here before and what do you think?

Also we've heard that some rooms dont have balconys! Is this true? Oh and is the Air Con worth the extra money?

I stayed there last year, they are really nice basic apartments.

I think all rooms have balconys, we got the best room last year it was the corner one at the top over looking the pool and the sea. Fantsatic.

Its definately worth getting the air conditioning put on. Its a real life saver as its so hot there, especially in August and we went in may.
