Hi all, I am booked for the Androtis Apartments first 2 weeks in September. Can you tell me what they are like, where they are near. any info apprciated. Already excited! 3 1/2 months to go.

there are several hotel reports entered for these apartments. You should find a link at the top of this page for Hotel Reviews. Click on that then select Cyprus then on the link for the Andreotis apartments. I've just submitted a report as I got back from there a couple of days ago. I'm sure anyone going there will find these reports helpful and reassuring.

going back to cyprus next year for 3rd time! 
booked to stay at andreotis apts protaras. i have booked a 2bed apt and asked for a pool view. does anyone know where the 2bed apts are located in the complex and are they good apts. any info will be much appreciated. ps. cant wait 2c Piggy in spectrum bar again!

I believe the couple that ran the bar at the Livas Hotel Apartments are now running the bar at the Andreotis. I wish that we were going back this year - will miss my yearly visit to the Spectrum Bar to see Angelo and George (and off course Piggy). Say hello to them from Amanda & Jon.

Thnx for that amanda. There are 10 of us going next year, 1st time in cyprus for 6 of them. We have raved so much about protaras they just had to come! We know they will be back like us.

Off to the Andreotis first 2 weeks in Sept, if I remember I wil have a look for you - I can't wait and I only have a few motnhs to go - it's been a year on Thursday since I was last in Cyprus and a long year it's been - roll on 31 August!

Coyuld someone give me a ruff idea what the apartments are like please and what protaras is like. i am off there end of aug

Hi Maga, a group of 10 of us are due to stay at the Andreotis apts in July next year! 
We actually know someone who stopped here, and they said it was lovely. Good location, only 400metres from the lovely Fig Tree Bay. Cross over the road, and you are at the beginning of the Protaras strip, where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. 
We actually stopped at apts opposite to the Andreotis last year, the Maouris apts. We could hear a lot of activity going on late evening when we returned from been out, karaoke etc, and decided to ask friends what they thought. 
A lovely lady called Dot went this year, you can read her review at the above link. Send me a private message and i will let you know what she thought! Let me know what your impressioons were please on your return. Cheers!

I am sure you will love the Andreotis appts.They are very handy for the strip .We travelled with Sunset and found the picture in the brochure must have been taken a few years ago as the bungalow type appts are screened by a large hedge which is not in the brochure picture.Also a lot of appts are in the main building which faces the road.However that would not put us off,we would definitely stay there again if visiting Protaras.

protaras in sept/oct, going to protaras in 3 weeks and i would like some information please on some of the good pubs in the resort for a wee snifter or two, also on what pubs to avoid ie ripoff bars etc ,etc, also some info please on the egypt trip, is it better to go by boat or plane, prices etc, , is it better to take cash, cash card am-ex t.c. or what any info would most welcome,last time that i was there was in 1974 and the place was invaded by the turks, staying at the andreotis apts, many thanks jannie221.

Stayed in apartments opposite to Andreotis last year. Try Cinnamon Pub, opposite the road-last year it was 90cents a pint for Carlsberg lager! You are in a great position, just 400metres from FigTree Bay, even less to the "strip"! Did 3day trip to Egypt last year, by boat on Salamis Glory-fantastic! Be warned thougjh, very tiring, but so worth it!

hi cromwell, many thanks for the info, looking at the amount of feedback that you post i take it that you,ve been to cyprus quite a few times but the big question that still remains is can you help me out with any of the other info that i still require, or if anyone else out there can help i would more than happy for any info about the protaras area in general many thanls jannie
