We have booked to go back in Aug 2011 and im so excited. We managed to get a free childs place which is why we have booked it so soon.

We have gone for the suite again as we felt it offered alot more that the standard rooms. plus in the suites you get access to the vip resurant & bar which mean no ques what so ever.

We are going with 2 children this time as last year(2009) we went on our honeymoon so was kiddy free but after us telling them about it they want to go.

Think my duaghter is more excited about cheap ghd's lol.

Well i hope everyone has a great time who is due to go and if anyone has any questions who hasnt been before i will be happy to try and answer them for you.

Does anyone have an e mail address for this hotel please? I can only find the main address for all the Tropicana hotels, in Cairo. As I want to request rooms, I don't think this address will be appropriate. Thanks.

I've come up with this from elsewhere Helen .

Grandazure@tropicanahotels.com

apparently could take a couple of days for reply .

So sorry Lyn - don't know how I missed your reply. I've just sent off an e mail.

Just had an e mail back from the hotel, saying that depending on the availability, they will do their best to accomodate my request. :tup Can't ask for more than that!

Hi Collet - I don't know if there are different types of rooms at the Tropicana, but ours didn't have a mini bar. We did have a small fridge which we used for keeping water & things like suntan cream and make up cool. The speciality restaurants are free, but you can only book one day ahead. You have to go to a room in reception betwen 10 and 10.30 every day to book - the earlier the better, as then you'll have a choice of the early sitting(7pm) or the late one (9pm) I myself didn't walk round the malls, but hubby said it's the usual touristy shops and places like KFC, Chinese restaurants e.t.c

There was never ice cream in the restaurant, but it was available in the kids club in small tubs(next to the pool room). 3 of our party (adults :) )ate some and didn't have problems

i am excited and nervous!!
We go in 11 days!
Is there ice cream in the daytime for the children?
where is best to sunbathe, in regards to the kids being happy?
Reply
Hi Claire h - there is always ice cream available in the kids club, which is right by the pool that has the slides and things in for the children. You don't have to be in the actual kids club. You can just walk in and pick up a tub. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas at all the pools, just pick your spot!

Hello,

I am due to stay at the Tropicana Grand Azure on 14th Sept 2011 and I am wonder if anybody could give me some advice.

I am looking to have a room with an Good/Nice View yet in a Quiet Area.

I am trying to find an email address direct to the hotel to put my request in, does anybody have one by any chance??

Also, could anyone recommend a specific area/block that would have nice views but quiet?

Thanks
