Just a heads up on the Tui Superstore in Walsall.
If you do go make certain you book your car reg in, if you don't you will be hit with a £100 parking penalty.
Great customer service!!!
Good luck
Is it one of those dodgy private ones though, if so you don't need to pay it they are unenforceable. We had a recent post on here about the ones they issue at Freeport which is an out of town shopping village in Essex, There is loads of information you can get via google about these. The only legitimate parking fines are those issued by Local Authority's.
Here's the thread Doe is referring to:-
No i don't think its 'Dodgy' but it is Tui's car park and a company runs it for them, all the big signs say it is for Tui customers only but the smaller signs, which are not visable from all parking bays, give all the information.
You don't have to pay to park just type your reg into a small pad instore but if you forget or are not aware of the system they hit you with a fine.
When booking my holiday i had contact with four assistants and not one informed me about it.
The good news is that Tui have, i hope, the authority to remove the fine and they say they have but they have been very curt and i think rude to us just hope the holiday is ok.
People have been campaigning for fair pricing say a £1 an hour rather than free up to a point and then if you go over by a couple of minutes draconian penalties. Sometimes the charge has been known to go on before the six hours are up at the Braintree one if the people who issue them feel like it and can't be bothered to do another circuit.
I'm sure your holiday will be fine, it's more trouble than it's worth to mess up people's holidays they need the business plus the hope of repeat business.
