Finally bit the bullet, changed the dates and booked today for a couple of weeks from 26th April. Now I must remember not to check prices any more but just relax and know I've got it sorted. :sun2

Happy New Year

Have booked my first trip to Tunisia staying at the Royal Kenz, really not sure why we chose Tunisia
but can say that i'm really looking forward to it . We are not going until October , not really bothered by the weather , but if the sun is shining then that will be a bonus .

September, same weeks as you, only 4 of us going this time, and teens are older, so NO KIDDIE DISCO :tup had to dash into entertainment last few years to get seats as there were so many of us, this year will be a different holiday, more family time I think. Have the bottle of Whiskey packed for Arrafic for our rooms :cheers are you going for two weeks?

Oh we'll see you there then! We're going for 11 nights this time, 7 nights wasnt long enough but bf doesnt have enough holidays for 14 nights so 11 nights it is! Just found out that Kelly and Sheryl wont be there then - my son will be gutted cos he loves them and followed them everywhere! It'll still be Oh Oh Mini Disco for us no doubt but we secretly love it!! ;) Have you been that time before - just wondered how hot it will be as we usually go in May?
Ooooh cant wait! :D

I've not stayed at the Tej but been several times to visit a lady I know who usually stays there and it certainly seems very nice. The rooms are a good size, the staff are pleasant and she says the food is fine. The grounds and pool area are lovely and it is well placed for getting around. Although it's not actually on the beach, this is only a short walk away and there are also some decent restaurants in the area. It is a fairly easy walk down to the Medina but also has its own quite large shopping area (though prices there are somewhat higher). I don't know your ages, but Bonapartes nightclub almost opposite has many devotees amongst the younger crowd (not my scene) and this also has a restaurant which does very nice food.

Although I've not yet had my spring break (going out on 19th April) I've just taken the bull by the horns and booked my flights for a couple of weeks in September. BA had excellent prices (£128) and as there were apparently only two seats left for the outward and 1 for the return flight I jumped in quickly. There's plenty of time for me to sort out a hotel and at least I won't waste time keeping checking flight prices as I usually do.
