after trying for 3 hours last night, i manged to get on this morning .. basically the holidays are with Goldtrail, mostly 2 & 3 star accoms in Marmaris, Icmeler, Gumbet, Bodrum & Altinkum.

by the time you add taxes, fuel supplements, transfer fees & in flight meals, they were coming at just over £100 per person (so still a bargain!)

they depart next weds (27th)

they also have a few flight only deals from £9 (total £75 inc taxes & fees)

Still good prices with all the extras added but it baffles me at how many people actually think they are going to get a holiday all in for £19pp.
Companies advertise these low price to get consumers onto their websites/into their shops and not to give away holidays at £19.

can someone tell me why these holidays are so cheap? I am looking for a week in the sun October 2nd and have seen turkey for £98 inc

is the weather terrible in October? I cant understand why its so cheap

The weather will probably be warm, there could be the odd shower but it will clear up quickly. The sea will still be warm enough to swim in. It will be getting cooler in the evenings so a fleece or jumper would be needed. it will probably be fairly quiet and a few places may be shutting down for the winter. As for the price - well there has been some terrorist activity recently and no doubt it has put many off. Personally it wont put me off I'm heading back at the end of October for a warm, restful break.

It has been a very very quiet season all over Turkey this year, and there are still a lot of packages unsold, even though some charter flights were cancelled at the beginning of the year.

If you can get to Turkey for £100 ish all inc for a week in October, go for it. The weather during the day is pretty dependably warm enough to sunbathe, most of the bars, restaurants and trips are still going strong, and if you're into shopping, its heaven in October - stall holders would rather sell their gear at less than their going rate rather than store it over the winter. So get haggling for all you are worth  .

now I need to go where shall I go .wheres hottest whats a nice hotel..I am going on my own :?

is it cheap to eat out there

Why not see which hotels in which resorts are available to you for your price range, then come back to this forum to ask about any that specifically appeal to you?

Eating out is cheap - not as cheap as you can get in the USA right enough :) , but still very reasonable.

if you can get to turkey for £100 then dont worry about where you go in October.the weather is good, sea is warm and bargains are a plenty.......... enjoy

If I had any more holiday to take off work I'd be off to Icmeler like a shot for £100!
Tour operators say the good weather this summer in the UK, combined with the football World Cup have led to a slump in bookings in general, there are some great bargains around, not just to Turkey!
