Hi Maureen, You're best bet is to go to Marmaris as there are a large selection of shops, selling all sorts of furniture and white goods. You will be able to get your buys delivered as well.

hey !! i'm goin to icmeler in may for 6 months, gonna b workin in alka tours travel agents, sellin excursions etc, i've got an apartment with a spare room if you fancy it will cost £20 a week ??. work wise i started out there as a rep but wasn't for me, transfers r long hours n low wages. i've been told by a friend who lives there that estate agency work is the new thing so why not sniff that out. well good luck in what you do take care wizz.

Has any one any idea on property prices in icmeler,how do they compare to the rest of turkey. looking at a few programs on tv prices seem quite reasonable in other parts at the moment. johnboy.

Im no expert - however would say Icmeler tops all the resorts on property prices

Looking at other resorts such as Altinkum - you could buy the same there for a quarter of the price

Think Icmeler is more expensive than most places, again we are no experts.

Icmeler is the most expensive, even more so than Marmaris. Turunc is rapidly rising to meet these, The cheapest around Marmaris is on the bozburun peninsula, the villages of Hisaronu,Orhaniye and Selimiye. These areas are not only the most beautiful but are governed by strict rules and regs. A word of warning buying in this area can be difficult so get a good agent and do a lot of research.

Hi there I will be moving out to Icmeler at the beginning of April and staying there permanantly.
Does anybody know of any reputable estate agents or of any properties available to let?
I am looking for a one bedroom apartment, close to the centre and as me and my partner will be working we would prefer not to stay in holiday accomodation. Last year I was there with my friend as well and we rented a duplex house behind the waterpark but this year the price has doubled so we cant have it!! We have also stayed at the Kangaroo apartments for a month or so which was reasonably priced.
Our budget is around £250 per month for the apartment. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Bodrum region is a lovely place to buy property and prices to suit all pockets. I would be happy to help as I am out there 4 times a year and have lots of friends contacts including an architect and a British builder ! no high rise monstrositys here.Only cute white and stone houses and hotels.Beautifull.Best area of Turkey.:D

I would also consider Fethiye, it is an all year town with some very touristy areas around it such as Olu Deniz (Beautiful) and Calis (Costa del) It also has some very reasonable property.
