Hi All,
Were off to Turtle Bay Beach Club in Kenya, at the end of June, and wondered if anyone who had stayed there could tell us if they have laundry facilities. We obviously want to keep down the amount of clothes we have to take, bearing in mind we will be taking more than the usual amount of long legged/sleeved items to keep the mozzies at bay, and the chill out when on early morning safari.
So excited your answer does not really matter.

Stayed there in Feb for one week after one weeks safari. We didnt use the laundry service but fairly sure there is one as the bags were in the room.
For the safari I wore pretty much summer clothes and just took a fleece for the early start.
Any more questions please ask.
Kind Regards
Stewart
To be honest we're more than happy to hand wash essential items in the bath, but if there is a possibility of cutting down on the bulk significantly, then its an option we may go for.
We spend our first two days at Turtle Bay, then embark on a 3 night Safari, before spending another 9 nights back at Turtle Bay.
We travel at the end of June and spend the first 2 weeks of July in Kenya, the weather is hopefully going to be dry, but expect a windy time around the beach, we have no idea what to expect on the Safari.
Anyone with any experience of this time of year your replies will be appreciated.

Understood loud and clear Mark will submit a review soon.
I have been to this hotel twice and love everything about it. The laundry service is very good and quick, even if you do get creases in your jeans.
I just hope everythig lives up to expectation, as the initial cost for 4 of us has risen by £500+ when maleria tablets, yellow fever injections plus the visa costs are taken into account. Still awaiting tickets and expecting a fuel surcharge to be added.
hope there is a tv if we get to the World cup final, now that would be the last straw. please tell me there is.
we are going to turtle bay hotel in January for the first time can anyone tell me who its best to book a safari is it OK to book with the beach boys and also is it worth up grading the rooms .
Depending on the cost and your attitude to your room it might be worh upgrading. Their are blocks at the front of the hotel with I guess no view of sea or pool and if you dont upgrade I guess this is where you go.
Kind Regards
Stewart
