Portugal is still running [till 2011 ] a pal system but im unsure which you may find you can get a picture but no sound [depends on band width settings] unless you have one of those clever tellys that automaticaly adjust bandwidth to match signal PAL will be switched off in most of europe by 2013 and a common didgitalsystem should then be in force

oh well ive found out that

F1 races are only shown in Portugal on SportTV, which is a premium digital channel


So no F1 for me :( , ill just enjoy my weekend without it then :sun2

result the mainish snack bar in departures had SportTV on showing the full F1 race :tup

just hope i can catch the british GP on the fly 2 weeks time in cyprus before flying home ;)

Well that's good! I won't pay the prices they charge in there so I didn't know they had SportTV.

yes there prices were scarey e1.75 for a 33cl bottle of water, tho i didnt pay there prices either, just borrow a view of there screens for an hour ;)
