Hi
Can anyone tell me if Typhoid vaccinations are needed for Malta? I've just noticed that ours have run out. I know we'll have to get revaccinated for Costa Rica but wasn't sure about Malta and the Fit for Travel website doesn't rule it out.
I have never had any vaccinations for going to Malta

Looks like we should be ok then - thanks!
We always made sure we had our typhoid jabs for Malta - but that was back in the 70's & 80's! The only reason we have them now is because we go to other places but as far as Malta is concerned you stand no more chance of catching Typhoid or indeed any other nasty than you would back in the UK.
We've visited Malta at least once every year for more than the past decade and we're off there for another week in July. The only time we had any illness was a few years ago. This was caused by a vomitting bug that lasted just 24hrs. We probably brought that with us from the UK anyway!
