Please note that over the next few days we will be upgrading the software that is running the forums.
For that reason, the forums will go offline for periods of time. We will try to keep any downtime to a minimum.
Wherever possible, we will give advance notice of these outages, but please bare in mind that the length of any outage is only estimated and are dependent on how smoothly the upgrade goes.

Please note that the forums will go offline at approximately 22:00 hrs for approximately 15 minutes.

For that reason the forums will go offline for periods of time on Wednesday 29th July 2009.
Whenever possible, appropriate notice will be given to enable our members to complete their posts.

Any idea time wise Mark?
The first outage probably about 11AM for approx. 1 hr (database backup). It will then go online again with another short 30 minute or so outage late afternoon.
Unfortunately the update didn't go that well and will need to be postponed until some other time.
Will give it another try on Thursday at 11AM.
Why dont you upgrade to vBulletin software? Seems much better than is currently used. Just a suggestion
phpBB has served us very well over the past years. As it is open source, it enables us to make modifications to suit our need. It has good free support.
